We created DTK Chapel for couples who want something different. Something simple and stunning, modern and warm, stressfree and actually fun. You know… the way getting married should feel!
The DTK Chapel isn’t just a wedding venue. It’s your chance to say “I do” in a space that feels as good as it looks, without sacrificing your sanity, your savings, or your personality in the process.
We celebrate and support all forms of love between two humans who want to (and legally can) get married. And we believe everyone deserves a beautiful start to their marriage.
ABOUT THE OWNER
Hey, I’m Jeff!
At DTK Chapel, your wedding may be small, but we know the intention behind it is anything but.
When I took over the chapel in 2021, my goal was simple: create a ceremony experience that felt beautiful, meaningful, and completely stress-free. Something couples could walk into and instantly feel like, "Yes! This is it!"
But I knew I couldn’t do it alone.
It took a dream team to bring this space to life: an interior designer to nail the aesthetic, skilled trades to rebuild it from the ground up, a graphic designer to shape the brand, and even a carpenter to handcraft our herringbone doors. Every detail you see here was created with care, all so your ceremony feels effortless, thoughtful, and incredibly special.
That same energy continues with the team who makes your day happen. Our kind and professional team of officiants are committed to making your ceremony feel personal, memorable, and fun.
Weddings and marriage are what we love most. And we literally can’t wait to welcome you and your most loved people to the chapel.

When you book your ceremony at DTK Chapel, you’ll be paired (based on availability) with one of our amazing officiants. Each one is legally authorized to marry you in the Province of Ontario, and every single one brings warmth, calm, and a genuine love for what they do. We know you’re going to love them.

Location
Centrally located in Kitchener’s City Hall (and down the hall from the Marriage Office!), the chapel is surrounded by beautiful photo spots and amazing restaurants. Whether you want champagne in the park or dinner with your people, it’s all within walking distance.
Aesthetic
The DTK Chapel is modern, welcoming, and already decorated. We worked with a professional designer to create a space that looks incredible in person and in photos so your ceremony feels relaxed and elevated without you lifting a finger.
Experience
You bring the licence and your partner. We’ve got everything else covered — the flow, the timing, the chairs, and even backup faux florals if you need them. Just show up and enjoy your ceremony. We’ll make it easy, lighthearted, and meaningful for you.

HOW IT WORKS
Our goal is to make the entire wedding ceremony process as smooth as possible.

1. Fill out our inquiry form
Tell us what you’re looking for and when you want to tie the knot. We’ll check availability and send over the next steps.
2. Secure your date
For a Just Us or Just Us+ Ceremony, we’ll confirm your spot with a quick email and payment instructions. For a Complete and Sweet Ceremony or Signature Package, a signed contract and 50% deposit locks in your date.
3. Actually have fun getting married
Show up with your favourite person and your marriage licence. We’ll take care of the rest.
